Dhu-Al-Hijjah – A Great Blessing Month In Islam



It may seem surprising that one of the pillars of Islam is performing Hajj pilgrimage. This worship is important for Muslim at least once in his life. On the day of Arafat, Allah forgives the sins of all pilgrims and saves many of his servants from the fire. It was reported by Muslim that the Prophet (PBUH) said, "There is not a day when the number of people saved from fire is greater than that of those who are saved on the day of Arafat”.
The Prayer At The Mosque:
Prayer on time and in groups must be the rule throughout the year. However, social occupations often distract us from a practice in accordance with the Sunnah. Among the blessings o prophet (PBUH), Allah has prescribed periods during which adoration becomes more pleasant. The month of Ramadan and the first ten days of Dhul-Hijja are some of those priceless moments.
Supererogatory Prayers:
Pilgrims certainly have a rare opportunity to gain the greatest rewards by praying in holy places. However, Allah has opened this door of supererogatory prayer to all those who want to get the satisfaction of Allah.
Allah says to us, "And remember Allah for a fixed number of days. " According to Ibn Abbas (R.A), the days mentioned in this verse are the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
Invoking:
One of the greatest ways of worship is the invocation. If the pilgrims have multiple opportunities to implore Allah around the Kaaba. The invocation can take place at any time during these ten blessed days.
